By default, one location entry is saved per second. Depending on the location services of your device, fewer entries may be generated. During track analysis, these are filtered out due to inaccurate recipient information or other aspects. However, these data points are still kept recorded, stored and retained wherever the data is shared.
Using a long click on a list item is the trigger for sharing.
